このメモ、一見もっともらしい。新MacBookにあっと驚くようなものなし、16GB版iPhone、iTuneでのYouTubeダウンロード、iPhoneソフトウェア開発キット（SDK）の紹介など。

しかし、致命的なミスがいくつかある。iTunesの映画レンタルや、Microsoft Office 2008、DRM無し音楽パートナーの追加、期待のビートルズiPodなどへの言及がないのだ（こうしたきわめて確度の高い予測のうち少なくとも1つは本当のはず）。もちろんすでにWikipediaの自浄作用が働いて、このメモのウラが暴露されている。あるコメントには 「全くのデタラメだ」、と書かれている。
